Low House Armathwaite Wedding Venue

Low House, near Armathwaite in Cumbria, is a Georgian Country House set in its own gardens and grounds surrounded by private parkland overlooking the River Eden with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Low House is available on an exclusive basis and can cater for weddings of most sizes. There is the option of both indoor and outdoor ceremonies [weather-permitting]  and the use of the ground floor rooms as well the gardens for a wedding reception. The main ethos at Low House is to offer each wedding party the greatest amount of flexibility to plans and organise their wedding as they want and the ability and opportunity to personalise their day to the greatest possible degree.

The venue is fully-licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships and for parties of 40 [forty] or fewer the venue can offer an indoor or outdoor ceremony followed by the use of the Main Hall for the Wedding Breakfast but for larger parties wedding couples will need to consider hiring a marquee, tipis or a giant yurt for their Wedding Breakfast and evening party.

The venue provide catering in-house and the catering team work with each party to produce a bespoke menu suitable for the special day.

There is extensive on-site parking together with access for minibuses.
