Winslowe House Wedding Venue

Winslowe House is a beautiful Victorian country house which is timelessly elegant inside and out, with stunning views across the rolling fields and woodlands, yet only 4 miles from central Southampton and the Airport & Parkway Station and 5 minutes to M27.
The magnificent gardens at Winslowe House provide the perfect backdrop for special photographs – in the spring there are carpets of bluebells in the woodland and flowering shrubs in the garden all year round. The surrounding farmland is a Nature Conservation Area – wild flowers, foxes, rabbits, deer and badger can also be seen. The stunning Salisbury Hall is also available for your photos with a sweeping staircase, parquet floor and a roaring log-fire in winter.
Ceremonies take place in the Barford Room with a licenced capacity of 60 guests and amazing views across the land.
The Barford Room is available for weddings, receptions, formal dining events for up to 35 guests; if further reception space is required for wedding receptions, maximum 100 guests, a luxurious marquee is linked to the house and accessed from the hall.
Our designated caterers will create the menus to suit the occasion – from delicious cream teas, to BBQ’s, Hog Roasts, to hot/cold buffets, to 3/4/5-course meals; along with a splendid wine list at reasonable prices.
We can cater for the couple who are looking for a luxurious, unique, exclusive, competitive venue.
We are happy to accommodate “Ceremony Only” requests - Winslowe House can be used as your own personal Registry Office with the ability to serve drinks and canapés, and with photograph opportunities, after the ceremony for those not wanting a reception; or the Ceremony can precede the Wedding Breakfast and/or Evening Reception.
Winslowe House is one of the few venues that genuinely offer “your day, your way” and is a hidden secret in the Hampshire countryside.
