The Globe at Hay Wedding Venue

The globe at hay is a unique and magical space in the heart of Hay-on-Wye, the famed book town on the edge of the Black Mountains. Situated within a beautiful converted Methodist chapel, the globe at hay is the perfect wedding venue for a truly unique celebration: from vintage style garden parties or ceilidh shindigs, to intimate drinks receptions or a sit-down meal, it can be a blank canvas for your big day.

We have a ceremony license here and the old chapel is perfect for your wedding ceremony with impressive double height ceilings in the main hall. We can accommodate up to 60 guests with a viewing balcony available for further seating. Access to projectors, sound equipment and chalk boards allow you to decorate and personalize the space to ensure a truly beautiful ceremony for your special moment.
