Samlesbury Hall Wedding Venue

The magnificent black and white Samlesbury Hall in Preston, Lancashire, dates back to the 14th Century and can be yours exclusively for the day and evening of your wedding.

The Whitaker Room is licensed for up to 90 guests for your ceremony, which can be followed by drinks and canapés on the front lawn (weather permitting) or if not, in one of their historic rooms. An abundance of photo opportunities are available, before you take your first seat as a married couple for your wedding breakfast in the 700 year old Great Hall. Enjoy an exquisitely prepared meal by Samlesbury’s award winning chefs, then dance the night away under the original timber beams.

The lodge is reserved for the happy couple, but accommodation for up to 100 is available in the form of luxurious shepherd’s huts – all come with the comfiest beds, showers and toilets. You can then enjoy the best breakfast Lancashire has to offer in the Samlesbury Hall restaurant.

Samlesbury Hall can cater for weddings large and small, there are no minimum numbers and smaller ceremonies are welcome!
